Love Letters (Ketty Lester) & Brass Desk Items

Dear Friend and Subscriber,

O.K. I feel I must confess that when it came to writing this post I was a little stumped. Having been married for 24 years it has been a while since I wrote any love letters. I decided instead to watch TV, hence the delay in posting. Flicking through the movie channels I stopped at a movie called "Blue Velvet" and started to watch it (once again). I love this movie for many reasons but mainly because it affords me a few glimpses of my home, ( much of it was shot in Wilmington NC) and I am currently in London (UK). Well by the end of the movie I had my inspiration thanks to Ketty Lester's fabulous rendition of the song "Love Letters" which is part of the soundtrack. So without further ado here are some of the great desk accessories available to help all of you when you do decide to write a letter (rather than emailing).

I should add that in my opinion letters still work better than emails when writing Love Letters. To help in your writing it is always a benefit if you have some of the following great writing accessories to hand:

If however you are like me and use regular office ball point pens or pencils then this Pencil Cup is a beautiful accessory. I am always scrambling to keep some semblance of order on my desk and this accessory gives me the perfect place to store all my various writing instruments.
